886,736. Steam cookers. FRITSCH, P., FRITSCH, W., FRITSCH, O, and FRITSCH, E., [trading as FRITSCH & CO. OHG.] June 12, 1958 [March 3, 1958]. No. 78781/58. Class 66. A steam cooker comprises a bottom pan 5, one or more removable cylindrical jackets 6<SP>1</SP>-6<SP>111</SP> each with a removable food container 7<SP>1</SP>-8<SP>1</SP> which is held against both downward and horizontal movement by projections on the jacket. These projections may take the form of projections 9C<SP>1</SP> pressed in a flange 9c of the jacket ; or a series of alternate horizontal and vertical projections 9b<SP>1</SP> and 9b<SP>11</SP> respectively ; or a peripheral shoulder at the lower edge of the container may rest against horizontal projections lying between cut out parts 9a<SP>1</SP> on the jacket flange. In cooking, steam from water in the bottom pan 5 rises up between the projections formed on each of the jacket flanges and escapes via an outlet in a lid 9.
