Abstract
1,268,133. Ornamental article. FUJII SHOTEN K.K. 9 April, 1970 [30 Dec., 1969]. No. 16886/70. Heading B6G. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, an ornamental article comprises a board 1 provided with a representation such as a picture or design on the surface thereof, a non-drying, pressure sensitive adhesive layer 2 coated on the surface of the representation, optionally a frame member 9 adhered to the board along its peripheral edge, beads 6 adhered to portions of the representation by the adhesive layer 2, a glass plate 7 placed on the beads and an adhesive marginal tape 8 joining the board 1 and the glass plate together. The adhesive layer 2 may be provided by a transparent film having adhesive on its opposite faces, the adhesive surfaces being covered with protective paper before use. The protective paper may be divided into sections serving to expose particular portions of the adhesive layer, arid may itself be transparent.
