Abstract

1,098,110. Laminates. DYMO INDUSTRIES Inc. Dec. 15, 1965 [Feb. 1, 1965], No. 53159/65. Heading B5N. Backing material for a composite colour embossed display comprises a strip of plastics material of uniform thickness 18, a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive 22 on one face, and a protective backing 24 removably adhered thereto, the edges 19 of the strip being bevelled so that the face of the strip bearing the adhesive is wider than the opposite face of the strip. A contrast colour tape 10 having a sheet 12 of plastics material on which are embossed enfigurements 14 of contrasting colour to that of the background of the sheet 12 may be adhered by a pressure-sensitive adhesive 16 to the backing material. Low density polyethylene is the specified plastics material.
