Abstract

1,154,068. Ni - Co - Cr alloys. UNION CARBIDE CORP. Oct.4, 1967 [Oct. 27, 1966], No.45164/67. Heading C7A. An alloy comprises:- the balance apart from impurities being cobalt in an amount up to 61%, and is so proportioned that the ratio Cr+W/C is not less than 110 and when it is less than 200 the silicon content is at least 0À2%. The La may be added in the form of a misch-metal and thus other rare earth elements may be present in the alloys. The alloys may be annealed at 1149-1232‹C. after hot rolling.
