Abstract

1,161,610. Copper alloys. LANGLEY. ALLOYS Ltd. Dec.28, 1967 [Dec.29, 1966], No. 58099/66. Heading C7A. An alloy comprises;- the balance being copper such that % Ni/% Si is 7-8 and % Ni/% Al is 4-5. The alloys may be hot worked and precipitation hardened at 400-600‹C. or hot worked, solution treated at 800-1000 ‹C., quenched in water, cold rolled and aged at 450 to 500‹C.
