Abstract

1,153,028. Electrostatic precipitators. METALLGESELLSCHAFT A.G. 15 Sept., 1967 [28 Oct., 1966], No. 42143/67. Heading B2J [Also in. Division F4] A plate 1, to equalise gas flow at the inlet and/or outlet of an electrostatic precipitator, is provided with square openings 2 along the sides of which are trapezoidal flaps 3 inclined at up to 10‹ to the normal to the plane of the plate. The width of each flap equals one quarter of the side of a square opening.
