Abstract

1358123 Electrostatic precipitators METALLGESELLSCHAFT AG 28 March 1972 [20 April 1971] 14557/72 Heading B2J The collector electrodes of an electrostatic precipitator are constituted by strips juxtaposed to define air spaces 5, each strip being formed with three troughs 1. Adjacent troughs open out on opposite sides of the strip and the sides 2 of the outermost troughs terminate in outwardly angled portions 3 having a length less than the length of a side 2. The strips may be provided with stiffening ribs (Fig. 1, not shown). Corona electrodes 4 are positioned between the collector electrodes as shown.
