Abstract

1,025,604. Oven doors. MILLS PRODUCTS Inc. Nov. 13, 1964 [April 23, 1964], No. 46295/64. Heading F4W. An oven door pivotally mounted on pivots 38 has a glass panel formed from two sheets of glass 11 (Fig. 3), spaced apart by a spacer 18 and held in position by a peripheral frame 13 which has a tape 22 of asbestos to provide a yieldable seating for the glass panels 11. The frame 13 seats in an outer channel-shaped frame 12 which supports a trim strip 16 made in varying shapes to provide the required appearance. This trim strip also supports a sealing gasket 50.
