A door panel or wing comprises a pair of sheet metal panels 2, 3 forming a compartment bounded by overlapping marginal portions 44, 46 bent at angles, e.g. a right angle, to the central portion, the portions 44, 46 being bonded together by adhesive therebetweeen and the compartment containing a filler material of a honeycomb or other cavitycontaining structure bonded to the panels. The panel 2 is shaped to define a moulding 44 containing filler material and the panel 3 is formed with a clamping flange 48 and a cushion strip of resilient material 49 of U- shape in section has one arm of the U- clamped against the moulding by the flange 48.
