Abstract

1,024,189. Tape dispensers. B.X. PLASTICS (AUSTRALIA) PTY. Ltd. June 29, 1964 [June 28, 1963], No. 26876/64. Heading A4G. A tape dispenser comprises two cylindrical bases 4, 5 with skirts 6, 7 the top 8 of skirt 7 fitting with skirt 6 to form a moistureproof container, the skirts having slots 9, 10 which may be opened or closed by relative rotation of the two halves. Members 17, 18 attached to the skirts abut where the slot is open and cover the slots for closing. The tape is withdrawn through the slot and severed on cutting edge 15 or entirely enclosed in the closed container, the tape roll being supported on raised ring 19 on base 5.
