Abstract

1,140,389. Cartons. K. SHIMADA and K. SHIMADA. 4 Aug., 1966 [4 Dec., 1965], No. 35059/66. Heading B8P. A flap 13 integral with the lid 9 of a drawer and shell carton, has a portion partially cutout and folded upwardly to form a hook b. As the drawer moves upwardly in the shell the hook b engages with a second hook 4, formed from an extension of the upper edge of the shell rear wall, and upon further movement the lid is opened. The lower edge e of the flap 13 engages between the drawer rear wall 10 and a portion c, cut from the drawer wall, to limit upward movement of the drawer. Extensions (f), (Fig. 3, not shown) disposed on opposite edges of the upper face of the lid, abut against the upper edges g of the shell to prevent the drawer moving downwardly when enclosed in the shell.
