Abstract

1350324 Container for tablets or pills PAUL STARKERMANN & CO 6 April 1972 [1 June 1971] 15857/72 Heading B8P In a container for tablets or pills comprising a tray 1 slidably mounted between side walls 25 of a cover 3, the underside of the tray base is coplanar with the free longitudinal edges of the cover side walls 25 and the front corners 15 of the tray are rounded and include shoulders 21 which, when the container is closed, abut the vertical edges 35 of the cover side walls 25 to provide a container with a smooth, continuous periphery. The free longitudinal edge (37, Fig. 4) of each cover side wall 25 may include an inwardly directed guide having a bevelled inner surface which engages a correspondingly bevelled edge (39, Fig. 4) of the tray base. Alternatively the tray may be mounted with the cover by tongue in groove or key in keyway arrangements. A stop (41, Fig. 4) is formed on the undersurface of the cover to limit relative movement between the tray and cover. The cover side walls are cut back as shown at 33. The container may be made of plastics material.
