A garment hanger has two identical arms 1 connected symmetrically by a pivot pin 2 which carries a hook 3 and the arms are urged into spaced apart position by rubber rings 4 held in recesses 5 to bear against the inside of the waist band of a garment or the hanger may be turned over to support the shoulders of a garment or to receive shoulder straps.
