[Also in Division A3] A pair of trousers is supported for inspection by two parts 1 and 2 which fit within the waist and are rotatably mounted on a fixed arm 8 secured to an upright support 9, the semielliptic part 2 being moved by a pneumatic cylinder 3 relatively to the elliptic part 1 to grip the waist. An additional semi-elliptic part may be extended from the other side of part 1, by another pneumatic cylinder. The waist size may be read off scales provided on the parts.
