Abstract

1,056,320. Colour television receiving tubes. MATSUSHITA ELECTRONICS CORPORATION. Dec. 14, 1964 [Dec. 17, 1963], No. 50793/64. Heading H1D. A colour television receiving tube having a plurality of electron guns comprises at least one electron gun provided with horizontal and vertical deflecting polepieces, wherein a single magnet disposed outside the envelope is used for magnetizing both sets of polepieces. The other electron guns have only a horizontal or vertical deflecting polepieces. The single magnet is movable in a direction axially of the tube, in a direction perpendicular thereto, and rotatable about an axis perpendicular to a tube axis passing through the centre of the axis.
