Abstract

1,047,055. Delivering sheets. LEIPZIGER BUCHBINDEREIMASCHINENWERKE VEB. Feb. 11, 1964, No. 5710/64. Heading B6H. A device for delivering and stacking sheets, comprises a receiver in which sheets 19 are stacked in an upright or on edge position, and conveyer 4, 5 arranged to feed the sheets into the receiver from below. The sheets are guided into the stack by stationary fingers 15 and a reciprocating pusher 14. A brush 17 limits upward movement of the sheets and stops 16 retain the sheets in the stack. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the upward runs of the endless belts are inclined to the vertical in the vicinity of the receiver and the lower belt guided along the bottom of the stack to form a moving receiver.
