Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de réarrangement en continu au sein d'un diluant organique et sous atmosphère d'anhydride carbonique de sels alcalins d'acides carboxyliques aromatiques. La caractéristique du procédé réside dans l'introduction en continu d'anhydride carbonique par l'intermédiaire du circuit d'alimentation de la suspension de sel alcalin d'acide aromatique dans le diluant. L'anhydride carbonique est introduit à tout endroit où la température de la suspension est inférieure à la température de réarrangement commençant du sel alcalin d'acide carboxylique aromatique. Le procédé permet en particulier de transformer le benzoate de potassium en téréphtalate dipotassique avec des rendements pratiquement quantitatifs.
