Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés d'acide 4,5-dichlorimidazole-2-carboxylique. On obtient ces composés en faisant réagir le 4,5-dichloro-2-dichlorométhylène-imidazole ou le 4,5-dichloro-2-trichlorométhylimidazole ou le cétène dimère de l'acide 4,5-dichlorimidazole-2-carboxylique avec des nucléophiles convenables et en soumettant les produits réactionnels ainsi obtenus, le cas échéant, à d'autres réactions subséquentes. Les nouveaux composés de l'invention ont un large champ d'activité herbicide. Ils exercent un grand effet fongitoxique et bactériotoxique. On peut aussi les utiliser pour combattre des parasites animaux.
