Abstract

The pen is particularly of the cartridge type, having a nib for fluid or paste protruding from the rear end and covered by a cap, the nib being supplied from a vessel in the rear part of the housing. The cap (8) fits in an opening (9) in the rear end of the housing and over the vessel (6). The cap for the nib at the forward end of the pen can be arranged to fit over this cap and the vessel can be interchangeable with an ink cartridge refill. Cartridge and cap may be sold as a unit, for insertion in the pen housing. The rear end nib (7) is of the fibre or ball-point type.
