- Figure 1 also illustrates a tension sensor 21 sensing tension in the thread 11. It is apparent that as the traverse guide 16 reciprocates the thread the length of thread from the guide 16 back to the guide eye 22 which is the last encountered thread restraint before the wind-up arrangement, will vary according to the position of the traverse guide in the stroke, being longer when the guide 16 is at the ends of the stroke than in the middle. This will result in a tension difference in the yarn as between these positions which may affect the way the thread is wound an to the package and which may cause the package to be wound more softly in the middle than at the ends.
- One way is by a feedback arrangement acting on the linear actuator 18 to vary the traverse rate so as to maintain the tension sensed by sensor 21 substantially constant. Another is for the controller 19 to alter the traverse rate in programmed fashion.
- controller to speed up the motor 15 (which can also comprise an electrically controlled rotary actuator for this purpose) to absorb the extra yarn fed per unit time in the middle of the stroke, possibly at the same time increasing the traverse rate to keep the winding angle sensibly constant throughout the traverse.

Claims (19)
- Procédé destiné à mettre en place un fil (11) sur un paquet en rotation (12) en déplaçant le point d'application du fil axialement par rapport au paquet, caractérisé par la commande de la construction du paquet en commandant la relation entre la rotation du paquet et la vitesse de déplacement par un agencement de rétroaction qui commande la vitesse de déplacement.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, comportant le fait de commander la relation entre la rotation du paquet et la vitesse de déplacement en fonction de la position instantanée dudit point d'application.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel ladite relation est également commandée par une fonction de la progression de la construction.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel le fil (11) est déplacé par rapport au paquet (12) par un guide de fil à déplacement alternatif (16) entraíné par un dispositif d'actionnement commandé de manière électronique (18, 48).
- Procédé selon la revendication 4, dans lequel ledit dispositif d'actionnement comporte un dispositif d'actionnement linéaire (18).
- Procédé selon la revendication 4, dans lequel ledit dispositif d'actionnement comporte un dispositif d'actionnement rotatif (48).
- Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel ledit dispositif d'actionnement rotatif (48) produit un déplacement alternatif linéaire grâce à un convertisseur rotatif-linéaire (48a).
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 4 à 7, dans lequel le dispositif d'actionnement (18, 48) comporte un dispositif d'actionnement servocommandé.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans lequel ladite relation est commandée en fonction de la tension du fil.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, dans lequel la rotation du paquet et le déplacement du fil sont effectués par des moyens d'entraínement indépendant (18, 48, 45).
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, dans lequel la rotation du paquet et le déplacement de fil sont effectués par des moyens d'entraínement uniques (45) agissant par l'intermédiaire d'un agencement de transmission (49b) qui peut modifier de manière commandée la relation entre la rotation du paquet et la vitesse de déplacement.
- Appareil pour la mise en place d'un fil (11) sur un paquet (12) comportant un support de paquet rotatif (13) et un agencement de déplacement de fil (14) qui déplace le point d'application du fil (11) axialement par rapport au paquet (12), caractérisé par des moyens de commande (19) qui commandent la construction du paquet en commandant la relation entre la rotation du paquet et la vitesse de déplacement par un agencement de rétroaction qui commande la vitesse de déplacement.
- Appareil selon la revendication 14, lesdits moyens de commande (19) comportant des moyens de traitement d'information numériques.
- Appareil selon la revendication 12 ou la revendication 13, lesdits moyens de commande (19) comportant un dispositif d'actionnement commandé de manière électronique (18, 48).
- Appareil selon la revendication 14, dans lequel ledit dispositif d'actionnement est un dispositif d'actionnement linéaire (18).
- Appareil selon la revendication 14, dans lequel ledit dispositif d'actionnement est un dispositif d'actionnement rotatif (48).
- Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications 14 à 16, dans lequel le dispositif d'actionnement (18, 48) est d'un type (qui comprend des moteurs pas-à-pas et des dispositifs d'actionnement pas-à-pas linéaires) dans lequel un signal d'entrée donné est reflété par une réponse prédéterminée indépendamment (au moins dans les circonstances) des charges opérationnelles auxquelles est soumis le dispositif d'actionnement.
- Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications 14 à 16, dans lequel le dispositif d'actionnement (18, 48) est un dispositif d'actionnement servocommandé dans lequel un signal d'erreur dans une boucle de rétroaction ajuste la réponse de dispositif d'actionnement afin de contrecarrer les charges opérationnelles auxquelles le dispositif d'actionnement est soumis.
- Appareil selon la revendication 18, dans lequel le signal d'erreur est obtenu à partir de la mesure de la puissance d'actionnement délivrée au dispositif d'actionnement (18, 48).
