Definitions
- the invention relates to a filter bag for vacuum cleaners, with an essentially plate-shaped connecting piece, which has a fixed base body with two base body layers arranged one above the other and aligned with passage openings, in particular made of cardboard or cardboard-like material, as well as a closure slide arranged between the two base body layers and containing a through opening, in particular made of sheet-like flexible material, the locking slide protruding laterally between the base body layers and being adjustable from an open position, in which its through opening is aligned with the through openings, into a closed position closing the through openings.
- filter bags are used to collect the dust - including larger filter bags or the like. to understand - used. It is by means of a Vacuum cleaner blower generates a suction stream, or the like, the dust into a suction channel, suction hose. pulls and from there through the dust inlet opening into the filter bag in question. The dust contained in the sucked-in air is retained by the filter bag wall, while the dust-free air flow penetrates the filter bag wall and is then blown out into the environment. If the filter bag is full, it is removed and can be thrown away.
- the filter bag is attached to the vacuum cleaner by means of the connection piece attached to the filter bag in the area of its inlet opening, which is attached in such a way that the through openings of the base body layers coincide with the inlet opening of the filter bag, so that all of these openings together form an inlet opening through which the Dust air is introduced.
- this inlet opening or the passage openings of the connecting piece can be closed when the filter bag is removed from the vacuum cleaner device. In this way, no dust can escape into the environment from the removed filter bag.
- a filter bag of the type mentioned in which the closure slide formed by a paper strip has a folded end area glued to one of the base body layers, so that the fold extends when the other end protrudes and the previously folded area lies over the passage openings and closes them.
- the gluing of the closure slide end to one of the base body layers not only requires an additional manufacturing step, but also entails the risk that the adhesive point will not withstand the force pulling on the closure slide when the bag is closed, so that the closure slide could be pulled out completely and the inlet opening again would be open.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a filter bag of the type mentioned, which is simplified and less expensive with respect to the closure slide and in which a stable hold of the closure slide on the base body is ensured.
- the base body has at least one stop element which engages in a stop recess of the closure slide, the recess edge of which forms an end stop which strikes the stop element at least in the closed position of the closure slide.
- the slide valve is held in a form-fitting manner on the base body, so that it does not separate from the base body can solve, even if you pull with great force.
- the gluing of the inner end of the closure slide provided in the known case and, in connection therewith, also a folding of the closure slide can be omitted, ie the closure slide can now have a shortened flat shape.
- the filter bag 1 shown schematically in FIG. 1 - it could also be used as a filter bag or the like. designate consists of air-permeable filter material (paper, fleece, etc.) and is used in a dust-extracting device. When new, the filter bag 1 is folded up and has a flat shape. In use, i.e. when inserted into the vacuum cleaner, it inflates and unfolds as a result of the air flow generated.
- paper paper, fleece, etc.
- the front wall 2 of the actual filter bag i.e. the bag front wall formed by the filter material has an inlet opening 3, in the area of which a connector 4 is fastened to the outside of the filter bag. 5, which is explained below together with the connection piece 4, the same reference numbers being used for the same parts with the addition of an "a" in the case of FIG. 5.
- the connector 4; 4a is used to establish the connection of the filter bag 1 with a device-side connecting piece, which is through the connector 4; 4a and the inlet opening 3 of the bag front wall 2 is inserted.
- the connector 4; 4a has an essentially plate-like shape. Its outline is rectangular, but it could be different.
- the connector 4; 4a is in essentially formed by a base body 5; 5a and a locking slide 6; 6a.
- the base body 5 is composed of two base body layers 7, 7a and 8; 8a together, which consist of cardboard or cardboard-like material, but in principle, for example, of plastic or the like. could exist. It is a relatively rigid material, so that the base body 5; 5a always assumes its flat flat shape and can be plugged onto the device-side connecting piece without difficulty.
- Each base body layer 7; 7a and 8; 8a contains a passage opening 9; 9a and 10; 10a, the two passage openings being arranged in alignment with one another.
- the two through openings When attached to the bag wall 2 tem connecting piece, the two through openings also correspond to the inlet opening 3, so that the two through openings 9; 9a and 10; 10a of the connecting piece 4; 4a together with the inlet opening 3 form a bag inlet opening.
- the closure slide 6; 6a is located between the two base body layers 7; 7a and contains one of the through openings 9; 9a and 10,10a corresponding through opening 11; 11a.
- the slide valve 6; 6a is in its initial position, in which the connector 4; 4a can be plugged onto the device-side connecting piece, in its open position (FIGS. 1 and 2) in which the through opening 11; 11a is aligned with the through openings 9; 9a and 1o; 10a is arranged.
- the closure slide 6, 6a is also linearly displaceable between the two base body layers 7; 7a and 8.8a by having a smaller width B than the base body layers and the two base body layers 7.7a and 8.8a on both sides of the closure slide 6; 6a their side edge areas are attached to each other. This can for example by gluing. 4 two such adhesive strips 12, 13 are indicated in the base body layer 7. 2 and 3, the two base body layers 6 and 7 are unconnected for the sake of clarity and at a slightly greater distance from one another than is shown in reality.
- the closure slide 6; 6a can be adjusted from its open position into a closed position covering the through openings 9; 9a and 10; 10a, in which the through opening 11; 11a is arranged outside the area of the passage openings, so that it covers them with a closed slide valve area 14; 14a.
- This closure takes place when the filled filter bag is removed from the vacuum cleaner, so that no dust can escape during further handling of the filter bag.
- the slide valve 6; 6a can be gripped by the user, it projects with a handle area 15; 15a even in its open position in the adjustment direction 16; 16a between the two base body layers 7; 7a and 8; 8a. By pulling in the adjustment direction 16; 16a, it is moved into the closed position.
- the closure slide 6; 6a consists of a sheet-like flexible material which has a tensile strength corresponding to the forces that occur. In principle, however, instead of such a flexible strip of material, a stiffer closure slide could also be used.
- the base body layer 7; 7a facing the bag wall 2, which is fastened to the bag wall, is on the Side of the handle area 15; 15a of the slide slide 6; 6a is pulled forward over the base body layer 8; 8a facing away from the bag wall, so that the handle area 15; 15a is supported.
- This advanced section 17; 17a is provided with a finger opening 18; 18a so that the handle area 15; 15a can be gripped on both sides.
- the base body layer 8; 8a facing away from the bag wall 2; 2a is saved in a U-like manner in the region of the handle region 15; 15a of the closure slide 6; 6a, but this could in principle also be omitted.
- the handle area 15; 15a of the locking slide 6; 6a can be provided with a stiffer handle 19; 19a attached to the paper-like flexible material, which can be a piece of cardboard or cardboard glued on.
- the locking slide 6; 6a In its open position, the locking slide 6; 6a also protrudes with its area opposite the handle area 15; 15a on the opposite side of the base body between the base body layers. This region forms the closed slide valve region 14; 14a, which, when transferred to the closed position, reaches between the base body layers and closes their passage openings.
- the locking slide 6; 6a is all in one layer and projects loosely from the base body in the open position.
- the lengths of the base body 5; 5a and of the locking slide 6, 6a measured in the adjustment direction 16; 16a can be selected such that in the closed position the end of the slide slide which is opposite the handle region 15; 15a is inside or outside of the base body 5; 5a. If this closure slide end is still in front of the base body in the closed position, the closure slide can also be pulled back from its closed position into the open position by pulling at this end if this possibility should be desired at all.
- the base body 5; 5a has at least one stop element which engages in a stop recess of the locking slide 6; 6a, the recess edge of which forms an end stop striking the stop element at least in the closed position of the locking slide 6; 6a, so that the adjustment path of the slide gate is limited.
- the at least one stop recess expediently has a length corresponding to the adjustment path of the closure slide 6; 6a, so that the recess edge in both positions of the closure slide, i.e. forms an end stop not only in the closed position but also in the open position.
- the closure slide 6; 6a can thus be arranged and guided between the base body layers 7; 7a and 8,8a except via the at least one stop element.
- the stop recess 20 formed in the closure slide 6 is formed by the through opening 11 which is present anyway.
- the stop element 21 is arranged on the base body 5 in half the width of the through openings 9, 10 so that the stop element 21 engages in the through opening 11 on the center line running in the adjustment direction 16. 1 to 4, the stop element 21 is in the adjustment direction 16, i.e. arranged in the closing direction of the closure slide in front of the passage openings 9, 10 of the base body layers 7, 8, that is to say in the region between the passage openings and the base body end facing the handle region 15 of the closure slide 6.
- the through opening 11 of the slide slide 6 is so large that the stop element 21 is also in the open position in it.
- the through opening 11 thus has a shape which is expanded with respect to the through openings 9, 10 of the base body layers.
- This extension 22 of the through opening 11, in which the stop element 21 is located in the open position, can be seen above all from FIG. 4.
- the point of the edge of the stop recess 20 or the passage opening 11 forming this opposite the handle region 15 forms the abovementioned end stop 23, against which the stop element 21 runs when the slide slide 6 arrives in the closed position.
- the through opening 11 forming the stop recess 20 is also so long that the point of the edge of the through opening 11 facing the handle region 15 forms a second end stop 24 against which the stop element 21 bears in the open position of the closure slide 6.
- the length of the through opening 11 thus corresponds, as already mentioned, to the length of the adjustment path of the closure slide 6, so that the closure slide is secured against further displacement both in the open position and in the closed position.
- the at least one stop recess can also be formed by a longitudinal slot on the closure slide, as is realized in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5.
- the slide valve 6a has two stop recesses 20a, 20'a in the form of longitudinal slots running in the adjustment direction 16a, in each of which a stop element 21a or 21'a arranged on the base body 5a engages.
- a single longitudinal slot with an associated stop element could also be provided.
- the two longitudinal slots present in the exemplary embodiment, which form the stop recesses 20a, 20'a, are located transversely to the adjustment direction 16a on both sides of the through opening 11a. It can be seen from this that the slide valve 6a of the embodiment according to FIG.
- the longitudinal slot end facing the handle area 15a or the recess edge located here likewise forms an end stop 24a which, like the end stop 24 of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS 4 is assigned to the open position, ie in the open position of the closure slide 6a, the stop elements 21a, 21'a rest against this second end stop 24a.
- the stop element of the base body could only be struck in the closed position at the relevant edge point of the stop recess of the locking slide, i.e. the respective stop recess could be extended towards the handle area of the locking slide.
- the stop element of the base body could only be struck in the closed position at the relevant edge point of the stop recess of the locking slide, i.e. the respective stop recess could be extended towards the handle area of the locking slide.
- one could, for example, fasten the handle 19; 19a to the locking slide 6; 6a in such a way that it hits the front edge of the facing base layer 8; 8a is running.
- stop elements are configured identically in detail. This stop element design is explained below only with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3, which, however, also applies accordingly to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5 or the stop elements there:
- the stop element 21 is formed in a simple manner from a stop tongue 25 which is integrally formed on one of the base body layers and bent towards the other base body position.
- the stop tongue 25 is expediently arranged on the base body layer 8 facing away from the filter bag and is thus bent toward the base body layer 7 fastened to the bag wall 2.
- Such a tongue can be obtained by appropriately punching the base layer 8, after which it only has to be pressed out of the plane of the base layer.
- the other base body layer 7 has, at the location of the stop tongue 25 seated on the base body layer 8, a cutout 26 into which the stop tongue 25 can engage, so that it can extend over the space between the two base body layers.
- the stop tongue 25 is also expediently opposite to the closing direction, i.e. directed against the direction of adjustment 16, its free tongue end thus points away from the handle area of the locking slide.
- the base body layer 7; 7a is fastened to the bag wall by gluing.
- the stop tongue 25 projects through the recess 26 towards the bag wall 2, so that it can be glued to the bag wall 2 at the same time as the base layer 7.
- a perforated sealing membrane 27; 27a made of rubber-elastic material is arranged between the two base body layers 7; 7a and 8; 8a at the location of the passage openings 9; 9a and 10; 10a, the cross section of the membrane hole 28; 28a is smaller than the cross section of the passage openings in FIG Basic body layers is.
- this sealing membrane fulfills a further function in connection with the stop tongue 25:
- the sealing membrane 27 is fastened to the base body layer 7 having the recess 26, expediently glued on. It is dimensioned and the recess 26 is arranged such that an outer edge region 29 of the membrane 27 crosses the recess 26, i.e. the membrane 27 protrudes slightly beyond the recess 26.
- the stop tongue 25 is now bent so far that it engages under the sealing membrane outer edge region 29.
- the outer edge region 29 of the sealing membrane 27 forms a sliding surface for the closure slide 6 arranged between the sealing membrane 27 and the base body layer 8 having the stop tongue 25 when it arrives in the closed position (FIG. 3).
- the closure slide region forming the end stop 23 thus slides onto the outer edge region of the sealing membrane.
