Abstract

The seat cover has an intended break point in the backrest part which can be broken through by the airbag as it unfolds so that the airbag passes freely out as it inflates. Mit der technischen Weiterentwicklung der Kraftfahrzeuge werden auch immer wieder neue Anforderungen an derartige Schonbezüge gestellt. So besteht derzeit das Problem, das ein neues Airbagsystem für Kraftfahrzeugen entwickelt wurde, das in den Lehnenlängsseiten der Kraftfahrzeugsitze angeordnet ist. Bei einem Unfall öffnet sich eine Sollbruchstelle entlang dieser Lehnenlängsseiten, durch die der sich entfaltende und sich aufblasende Airbag heraustritt um seine Pufferfunktion/Auffangfunktion auszuüben. Claims

1. Slipcover for motor vehicle seats with a seat part and a backrest part, characterized in that at least one predetermined breaking point is formed on the backrest part in the region of the longitudinal backrest sides, which can be broken open by unfolding an airbag integrated in the seat and opens an opening which opens from the unfolding and the inflatable airbag is freely passable.

2. Slipcover according to claim 1, characterized in that the predetermined breaking point is an opening slot ( 10 ), on the slot edges ( 12 , 17 or 25 , 30 ) of adhesive for releasably closing the opening slot ( 10 ) are formed.

3. Slipcover according to claim 2, characterized in that at least one plastic profile with an integrated magnet is arranged on the slot edges ( 12 , 17 ), two magnets, which are opposite each other on the two slot edges ( 12 , 17 ) in a corresponding position are loaded to each other.

4. Slipcover according to claim 3, characterized in that magnetic tapes ( 5 , 6 ) are provided which extend over almost the entire length of the respective slot edge ( 12 , 17 ) or the plastic profile arranged thereon.

5. Slipcover according to one of claims 3 or 4, characterized in that the plastic profiles are sewn onto the slot edges ( 12 , 17 ) of the slipcover.

6. protective cover according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the plastic profiles have a width of at least 22 mm.

7. Slipcover according to claim 2, characterized in that the adhesives are realized as a plug connection.
