Backlioh'&schelbe für Fahrzee
Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf eine Räcklichtscheibe für Fahr-
zeuge, die lichtdurchlgssige und lichtreflektierende Teile
be-
sitzt, so dass einerseits für die von einer Lichtquelle ans
dem
Lampengehäase ausgesandten Liehtstrahlen eine genügende Dureh-
trittsfläche, andererseits aber auch hinreichend groas bestes-
sene Rüekstrahlflächen für von aussen einfallendes licht zur
Verfügung stehen.
Die Rückliohtsoheibe gesse der Neuerung besteht ans einer
läßlich rechteckigen, aus lichtdurchlässigem Werkstoff ge-
fertigen Kappe dLt lichtdurchlässigem Rand und schwach ge-
weitem Boden, der an seiner Innenseite lichtreflektierende
Mittel ausweist. Torzugsweise werden die lichtreflektierenden
Mittel beiderseits eines lichtdurchlässigen Teiles des Kappen-
bodens angeordnet.
Bei dieser Ausgestaltung der Scheibe bildet das von der Gluh-
lampe ausgesandte Licht ein Lichtbandel vongrosaer Reichweite
während die Kappenränder ein deutlich erkennbares SeiteHlicht
liefern* Die seitlichen Teile des Kappenboden ergeben eine
über
einen grosser Winkelbereich sieh erstreckende BSckstrahlwirkung.
Zwei besohders zweckmässige Außgeataltmigen des Neitertmgsgegen-
standes sind auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Bs 8eigent
Pig. 1 die Innenan einer kappenfö=igen Rüclaicht-
scheibe und
Fig* 2 die mit dieser Scheibe aasgerußtete Rückleuchte
im Längsschnitt nach Binie II-II in Fig l.
Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die Rücklichtkappe einer zweiten Ausführunsform

Die aus lichtdurchlässigem farbigem Werkstoff gefertigte, kappenartig
gestaltete Rückllohtscheibe 10 besitzt einen ebenen Flansch 14, der ebenso wie der
flachgewolbte Boden einen annähernd rechteckigen Umriß hat. Der Boden ist in seinem
mittleren Teil an der Innenfläche mit Streuriffeln 11 versehen, die das von einer
Glühlampe 24 ausgesandte licht durchlassen und zweckentsprechend verteilen. An der
Innenseite der beiderseits anschliessenden Seitenteile 12 befinden sich pyramden-
bezw. tetraederförmige Rückstrahlkorper. Die Innenflächen der vom Xappenboden zum
Flansch 14 sich erstreckenden Randteile sind mit schmalen Streuriffeln 13 versehen,
die bei eingeschalteter Lichtquelle ein deutlich erkennbares Seitenlicht ergeben.
Infolge des flachgewölbten Bodens ergibt sich auch bei schräg von der Seite her
auffallendem Licht noch eine ausreichend starke Rückstrahlwirkung. @ Die kappenartige
Abdeckscheibe liegt mit ihrem Flansch 14 auf dem flach nach aussen abgebogenen Rand
17 eines Gehäuses 16 auf,
das als Reflektor mit nahezu rechteckiger Lichtaustrittsoffnung
ausgebildet ist. Dieses Reflektorgehäuse hat einen parabelförmig geformten mittleren
Wandteil, der oben sowie unten von je einem flachen Wandteil begrenzt ist. Zur Befestigung
der Scheibe 10 am Reflektor dient ein den Rand 14 der Scheibe umfassender Blechrahmen
15, an dem die Köpfe von zwei Schrauben 18 angreifen, deren Gegengewinde sich im
Rand 17 des Reflektors befindet. Der Reflektorteil des Gehäuses 16 ragt in eine
passend bemessene Öffnung einer Fahrzeugummantelung hinein. Der Rand 17 des Gehäuses
16 ist am Rand 20 dieser Bffns. sg durch zwei Schrauben 19
fest-
gelegt. Die Anschlußklemmen 22 und die mit dem Sockelkontakt
der Glühlampe 24 in Verbindung stehende Kontaktfeder 23 sind
unmittelbar am Gehäuse 16, befestigt.
Die als zweites Ausführungebeispiel in Pigt, 3 und 4 dargaätellte
Racklichtkappe unterscheidet sich von der vorgeschriebenen
le-
diglich dadurch, dass der mittlere, lichtdurchlässige Bodenteil
als abgestufte Ringlinse 21 ausgebildet ist, durch die das bei eingeschalteter Glühlampe
ausgesendete Licht zu einem Bündel von hoher Leuchtdichte ausgerichtet wird. Die
