The invention relates to a universal extinguishing powder which is suitable for fighting fires of all fire classes, both ember and flame fires, such as wood fires and fires of other carbon-containing substances, oil, gasoline, gas fires and fires on electrical systems, and a method for its production .
Es wurde außerdem bereits vorge-Un'iversallöschpulver It is known that dry extinguishing agents have very good extinguishing power. The extinguishing effect is at the previously known extinguishing powders based on sodium hydrogen carbonate mainly on one negative heterogeneous catalysis, the so-called wall effect. By building a powder cloud, the burning process, which runs as a chain reaction, becomes a chain termination reaction forced. In the case of the recently developed extinguishing powders, which are also used against glowing fires found on the basis of ammonium sulfates and phosphates, occurs as a result of prolonged exposure to heat These inorganic salts decompose on the embers, releasing ammonia a. This gaseous ammonia also contributes to the extinguishing and has a more negative effect, so to speak Catalyst in homogeneous phase. In addition, the resulting molten salt penetrates into the Embers and acts as a shield against atmospheric oxygen in the form of a thin layer of glaze. It has already been proposed to use a mixture of sodium hydrogen carbonate, ammonium sulfate and diammonophosphate with the addition of small amounts of stearic acid and silica to improve the water-repellent properties and to increase the flowability as a dry extinguishing agent. In addition, other than ammonium sulfate and primary ammonium phosphate have already been proposed also use potassium chloride in addition to the usual additives. It has also been suggested in addition to primary ammonium phosphate and ammonium sulfate, also sulfur and polyethylene and known ones Use additives. In addition, it has already been proposed in addition to diammonophosphate and Ατητηοη chloride Use melamine as the main component of about 50 to 98 percent by weight. Furthermore, was proposed a mixture of 50 to 90 percent by weight monoammonophosphate, diammonophosphate or a mixture of these phosphates or 50 to 30 percent by weight of ammonium sulfate and 8 to 20 percent by weight Apply barium sulfate. This mixture contains small amounts of a formaldehyde-urea resin or formaldehyde dicyandianide resin and ammonium bromide and known additives are added. It was also pre-universal extinguishing powder

It has now been found that the previous dry extinguishing agents because of the risk of Electricity flashovers when extinguishing electrical systems are only applicable to a limited extent. It was too found that dry chemical containing both sodium hydrogen carbonate and phosphates and They contain sulphates and, when heated to + 60 ° C, show clumping after a short time lead to hardening of the powder. In practice, these high temperatures can occur, z. B. with prolonged, direct sunlight from fire extinguishing containers. It also turned out because of the water-attracting property as disadvantageous, salts such as ammon bromide or ammonium chloride, as Use extinguishing agent or add as an extinguishing agent.
The purpose of the invention is to produce a universal extinguishing agent that can also be used safely Can be used in fires on electrical lines and systems that are under very high voltage stand. Because of its universal applicability, there is thus the risk of using one for this Fire class not or only conditionally approved dry extinguishing agent excluded. Besides, it is very advantageous to produce a universal extinguishing agent in order to meet the required standardization and Type adjustment of fire extinguishers to take into account.
