Die Befestigung von Stielen an Schrubbern od. dgl. wurde bisher durch Einpressen von Stielen in Bohrungen im Rücken der Schrubber hergestellt. Bei dieser Verbindung muß der Schrubberrücken aus einem verhältnismäßig starken Brett gefertigt sein, damit ein Befestigungsloch von genügender Führungslänge eingebohrt werden kann. Der Holzverbrauch bei der Herstellung von Schrubbern ist daher erheblich.
