Abstract

Un metodo para fabricar productos de plastico con un material de lente lenticular integrado que termicamente protege la capa de tinta y las superficies de lente exteriores del inserto lenticular. Al material de lente lenticular se le provee una capa de lente lenticular con una superficie exterior de salientes opticas (22) y una capa de tinta (28) adherida a una capa de lente transparente (24). Se aplica un substrato protector termico (30) que comprende tinta flexografica opaca a la capa de tinta. La aplicacion del substrato protector termico se completa utilizando una unidad de recubrimiento de una prensa litografica. Se forma un inserto lenticular recubierto y el inserto se coloca dentro de una cavidad del molde. El substrato protector termico aisla la capa de tinta. Simultaneamente, la porcion del molde adyacente al inserto se enfria a una temperatura por debajo de la temperatura de deformacion de las salientes opticas.
