Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO DE POLÍMERO AROMÁTICO DE MONOVINILIDENO MODIFICADO COM BORRACHA, PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UMA COMPOSIÇÃO DE POLÍMERO AROMÁTICO DE MONOVINILIDENO MODIFICADO COM BORRACHA E ARTIGO TERMOFORMADO. A presente invenção é uma composição de polímero aromático de monovinilideno modificado com borracha onde a borracha é um polímero elastomérico modificado na extremidade de cadeia com sulfanil silano. Na presente invenção a borracha funcionalizada provê níveis de enxertio suficientes em tecnologias de processo de polimerização por enxertio padrão para preparar morfologias e distribuições de tamanho de partícula de borracha desejadas. Através de uma faixa de polímeros aromáticos de monovinilideno modificados com borracha, descobriu-se que o uso dos modificados de acordo com a melhorar as combinações de particularmente de claridade, polímeros elastoméricos presente invenção pode propriedades de resina, propriedades físicas e de superfície, incluindo tanto homopolímeros aromáticos de monovinilideno modificados com borracha (por exemplo, poliestireno de alto impacto) como copolímeros aromáticos de monovinilideno modificados com borracha (por exemplo, ABS). As borrachas funcionalizadas têm grupos funcionais sulfanila que provêm um sítio de enxertio reativo otimizado.
