Abstract
"VEDAçãO PARA FENDAS CIRCULARES PARA UMA VáLVULA". A presente invenção refere-se a um vedação para fendas circulares (20) para uma válvula, concebido para bloquear o fluxo de um fluido do lado da alta pressão para o lado da baixa pressão da válvula em uma posição de bloqueio. A válvula dispõe de um cilindro através do qual circula o fluido e no qual é possível a deslocação axial de um pistão. Na posição de bloqueio, uma fenda circular entre o pistão e o cilindro pode ser selada pelo vedação para fendas circulares (20) que assenta em uma ranhura que envolve o cilindro, sobretudo com vista a obter um aumento automático do efeito de vedação quando o diferencial de pressão entre o lado da alta pressão e o lado da baixa pressão aumenta, bem como a garantir o referido efeito de vedação tanto no sentido de fluxo previsto como no sentido inverso. Para o conseguir, dois anéis de vedação (24, 25) adjacentes são dispostos simetricamente na ranhura existente. Na posição de bloqueio, o fluido proveniente do lado da alta pressão faz com que um lábio de vedação (27) de um anel de vedação (24,25) virado para o lado da baixa pressão seja comprimido de forma estanque contra o pistão e com que uma superfície de vedação (29) do primeiro anel de vedação (24,25) seja comprimido de forma estanque contra uma parede da ranhura.
