Abstract
"REFORMADOR DE VAPOR, E, PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR HIDROGêNIO QUE CONTENHA CONCENTRAçõES DE MONóXIDO DE CARBONO E DE DIóXIDO DE CARBONO ABAIXO DE UM NìVEL MìNIMO DEFINIDO". Um sistema de processamento de combustível (fig. 27) é divulgado. O sistema inclui um reformador de vapor (12) adaptado para produzir hidrogênio a partir de um carregamento de alimentação consistindo de água e pelo menos um de um carregamento de alimentação de um álcool e um hidrocarboneto. O hidrogênio é produzido reagindo-se o carregamento de alimentação na presença de um catalisador de reforma (102). O fluxo de produto é passado através de um módulo de membrana seletiva para o hidrogênio (54), no qual o fluxo permeado é refinado para remover o monóxido de carbono e o dióxido de carbono permutados e o fluxo de subproduto é comburido para aquecer o reformador.
