Abstract

Metanolutslipp i CO2-avluftningen fra en enhet for syntesegass i et ammoniakk- eller hydrogenanlegg reduseres ved å kontakte rå syntesegass fra en lavtemperaturs skiftomformer med resirkulert strippet kondensat for å absorbere metanol. Syntesegassen behandles i en renseenhet for å danne CCVavluftningen med redusert metanolinnhold. Kondensatet fra kontakttrinnet dampstrippes for å danne en strøm av prosessdamp, som er anvendelig som tilførsel til reformeringsenheten (reformer), og en strøm av strippet prosesskondensat, som er anvendelig til polering ved ytre anlegg, idet en del av den sistnevnte strømmen resirkuleres for å kontakte den rå syntesegassen.
