Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A EXTRAçãO DE UM METAL DE UMA SOLUçãO AMONIACAL, E, COMPOSIçãO DE SOLVENTE DE EXTRAçãO". é proporcionado um processo para a extração de metais por solvente, especificamente de cobre, a partir de soluções aquosas amoniacais. O agente de extração é uma orto-hidróxi-aril-cetoxima de fórmula (1): na qual R^ 1^ é um grupo hidrocarbila, e R^ 2^ é um grupo orto-hidróxi-arila e o processo de extração é realizado na presença de um modificador cinético. Modificadores termodinâmicos apropriados que podem ser empregados incluem alquil-fenóis, álcoois, ésteres, éteres e poliéteres, carbonatos, cetonas, nitrilas, amidas, carbamatos, sulfóxidos, e sais de aminas e compostos de amónio quaternário. Orto-hidróxi-aril-cetoximas preferidas são 5-(C~ 9~ a C~ 14~-alquil)-2-hidróxi-acetofenona-oximas. Modificadores preferidos são alquil-ésteres elevadamente ramificados compreendendo de 10 a 30 átomos de carbono, ou alcanóis elevadamente ramificados compreendendo de 14 a 30 átomos de carbono, ou fosfatos de trialquila cujos grupos alquila compreendem de 4 a 14 átomos de carbono. Composições extratoras compreendendo uma cetoxima e um modificador também são proporcionadas.
