Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>''SINTASES DE áCIDOS GRAXOS EM PLANTAS E SEU USO EM MéTODO APEREIçOADOS PARA PRODUçãO DE áCIDOS GRAXOS DE CADEIA MéDIA''<D>. Por esta invenção, composições e métodos de uso relacionados à sintase de <225>-cetocil-ACP de interesse especial são sintases obteníveis a partir de espécie Cuphea. Aminoácido de ácido nucléioco para fatores de proteína de sintase são providos, bem como métodos para utilizar tais seq³ências em construtos para a produção de plantas engenheiradas geneticamente tendo composições de ácido graxo. De interesse específico é a expressão de fatores de proteína de sintase em conjunção com a expressão do meio de tioesferases de acil-ACP de cadeia média de planta para produção de níveis aumentados e/ou taxas modificadas de ácidos graxos de cadeia média em óleos de sementes de planta trangênica.
