Abstract
Polipéptido aislado que posee actividad pesticida, que comprende: (a) una secuencia de aminoácidos que posee al menos 95% de identidad de secuencia respecto de una secuencia de aminoácidos establecida en la SEQ ID Nº 307, en donde el polipéptido tiene actividad pesticida. También, se provee una composición que comprende una cantidad efectiva pesticida de dicho polipéptido. Además, se proveen una molécula de ácido nucleico que codifica dicho polipéptido, una célula huésped comprende la molécula de ácido nucleico que codifica dicho polipéptido y una construcción de ADN que comprende un promotor heterólogo operativamente unido a dicha molécula de ácido nucleico. Se proporcionan métodos para la producción del polipéptido descrito y métodos en el control o eliminación de una plaga. Los polipéptidos, células huésped, construcciones, composiciones y métodos proporcionados son útiles para la producción de organismos con una mayor resistencia o tolerancia a las plagas.
