Abstract

Uso de inhibidores de nitrificación novedosos de la fórmula (1), que son compuestos de etinilpiridina. Además, el uso de compuestos de la fórmula (1) como inhibidores de nitrificación, es decir, para reducir la nitrificación, así como mezclas y composiciones agroquímicas que comprenden los inhibidores de nitrificación de la fórmula (1). Reivindicación 1: Uso de un compuesto de etinilpiridina de la fórmula (1) o una sal, un estereoisómero, tautómero o N-óxido de este como un inhibidor de nitrificación, en donde en el compuesto de la fórmula (1) R¹ es halógeno; R² es halógeno, CN, NO₂, C₁-C₄-alquilo, C₁-C₄-haloalquilo o C₂-C₄-alquenilo, en donde cada átomo de carbono sustituible en los grupos mencionados anteriormente está independientemente no sustituido o sustituido con uno o más sustituyentes RA iguales o diferentes; en donde RA es CN, halógeno, ORᵃ, NRᵇRᶜ, C(=O)Rᵃ, C(=O)ORᵃ o C(=O)NRᵇRᶜ; Rᵃ es H, C₁-C₄-alquilo, C₁-C₄-haloalquilo o fenilmetilo; Rᵇ y Rᶜ se seleccionan independientemente entre sí de H y C₁-C₄-alquilo; y en donde n es 0, 1, 2 o 3. Reivindicación 6: Una composición para el uso en la reducción de la nitrificación caracterizada porque comprende al menos un compuesto de la fórmula (1) como se definió en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5 y al menos un portador. Reivindicación 7: Una mezcla agroquímica caracterizada porque comprende (i) al menos un fertilizante y (ii) al menos un compuesto de la fórmula (1) como se definió en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, o la composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 6. Reivindicación 10: Un método para reducir la nitrificación, caracterizado porque comprende tratar una planta que crece en el suelo o sustituyentes del suelo y/o el locus o suelo o sustituyentes del suelo donde la planta crece o se pretende que crezca con al menos un compuesto de la fórmula (1) como se definió en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, o una composición como se definió en la reivindicación 6.
