Abstract
La presente contempla métodos para la producción de una proteína recombinante que comprende (a) la fermentación de una célula huésped procariota, donde dicha célula huésped procariota ha sido transformada con un ácido nucleico que codifica dicha proteína recombinante, la cosecha de dicha proteína recombinante en condiciones donde los niveles de dO₂ son superiores a 0%, la purificación de dicha proteína recombinante hasta un volumen filtrado, donde dicho volumen filtrado no contiene una cantidad detectable de aducto do DHNA-proteína recombinante, medida por un ensayo de IEC a 310 nm. La presente además contempla un método para la producción de una proteína recombinante que comprende la fermentación de una célula huésped procariota con deleción del gen menE, donde dicha célula huésped procariota ha sido transformada con un ácido nucleico que codifica dicha proteína recombinante, la cosecha de dicha proteína recombinante; y la purificación de dicha proteína recombinante hasta un volumen filtrado, donde dicho volumen filtrado no contiene una cantidad detectable de aducto de DHNA-proteína recombinante, medida por un ensayo de IEC a 310 nm, y donde el rendimiento de proteína recombinante se incrementa alrededor de 20% o más.
