Abstract
Se refiere a métodos para producir una planta que tiene rendimiento de cultivos mejorado según se compara con una correspondiente planta de tipo salvaje, en donde dicho método comprende la sobre expresión de un gen qPE9-1 y/o un gen de Panoja Densa y Erecta 1 (DEP1). Se proporcionan los ácidos nucleicos que codifican qPE9-1 y/o DEP1, y células, progenies, semillas y polen derivados de dichas plantas o panes de planta, así como los métodos para realizar y los métodos para utilizar dichas células de plantas o plantas, progenies, semillas o polen. También se refiere en general a una planta de cultivo con mayor rendimiento, preferentemente en condiciones de tensión transitoria y repetitiva según se compara con una célula de planta tipo salvaje no transformada correspondiente. Se refiere también a métodos para producir y seleccionar y reproducir dichas plantas de cultivo o células de plantas.
