Abstract

Se describen composiciones y métodos relacionados con células de levadura que tienen una mutación genética que da lugar a una mayor producción de alcohol, particularmente en condiciones de alto crecimiento de sólidos disueltos. Dicha levadura es adecuada para su uso en la producción de alcohol para reducir el tiempo de fermentación y/o aumentar los rendimientos.
