Abstract

Procesos para producir etanol que comprenden material celulósico que se puede sacarificar con una composición enzimática celulolítica y fermentar el material celulósico sacarificado con un microorganismo fermentador para producir etanol. El organismo fermentador es Saccharomyces cerevisiae CIBTS1260 (depositada con el n.° de acceso NRRL Y-50973 en la Colección de Cultivos del Servicio de Investigación Agrícola (NRRL), Ilinois 61604 EE. UU.) o un organismo fermentador que tiene propiedades que son las mismas o aproximadamente las mismas que las de Saccharomyces cerevisiae CIBTS1260.
