Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un método para mejorar la actividad de catalizadores zeolíticos ácidos, caracterizado porque comprende: poner en contacto un catalizador zeolítico ácido que comprende aluminio superficial no estructural y aluminio estructural con un ácido dibásico orgánico en presencia de agua en una proporción en peso de catalizador a ácido dentro del rango de 2:1 a 20:1, en una proporción en peso de agua a catalizador dentro del rango de 30:1 a 50:1 y a una temperatura dentro del rango de 50ºC a 100ºC durante un tiempo de hasta 2 horas para eliminar de manera selectiva por lo menos una porción del aluminio superficial no estructural, formando de esa manera un catalizador zeolítico desaluminizado de manera selectiva; donde el catalizador zeolítico desaluminizado de manera selectiva exhibe un incremento en la actividad catalítica en una reacción de alquilación de por lo menos 80% con relación al catalizador zeolítico ácido.
