Abstract
Concentrados líquidos para bebidas que proveen mayor estabilidad al sabor, edulcorantes artificiales, vitaminas, y/o ingredientes de color. Más particularmente, concentrados líquidos para bebidas que proveen mayor estabilidad al sabor a pesar de un alto contenido de acidulante (es decir, al menos alrededor de 5 por ciento en peso de acidulante). En un aspecto, los concentrados líquidos para bebidas con contenido de agua (es decir, menos de alrededor de 30 por ciento de agua) y, en otro aspecto, están sustancialmente libres de agua. En algunos enfoques, los concentrados líquidos para bebidas descritas en la presente son no perecederos durante al menos tres meses y se pueden diluir para preparar bebidas saborizadas con un perfil de sabor deseado y con poco o nada de sabor a degradación.Reivindicación 1: Un concentrado para bebidas líquidas saborizadas que tiene un contenido bajo de agua, caracterizado porque comprende: alrededor de 5 hasta alrededor de 50 por ciento de acidulante; alrededor de 0,5 hasta alrededor de 40 por ciento de saborizante; 0 hasta alrededor de 30 por ciento de agua; y líquido no acuoso en una cantidad efectiva para proporcionar un contenido total de líquido no acuoso de alrededor de 20 hasta alrededor de 94,5 en peso del concentrado, la cantidad de acidulante y saborizante incluyó a una proporción de por lo menos alrededor de 0,1:1, y para los concentrados que contiene agua, el acidulante y agua se incluyen en una proporción de por lo menos alrededor de 0,25:1, y el concentrado para preparar bebidas líquidas saborizadas que contiene ácido menos disociado y mantiene más sabor que un concentrado de otro modo idéntico que incluye agua en lugar de líquido no acuoso después del almacenamiento en un envase cerrado a temperatura ambiente durante por lo menos alrededor de tres meses. Reivindicación 2: El concentrado para preparar bebidas líquidas saborizadas de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el líquido no acuoso se selecciona del grupo que consiste en propilenglicol, glicerol, etanol, triacetina, acetato de etilo, alcohol bencílico, aceite vegetal, isopropanol, 1,3-propandiol, y combinaciones de los anteriores.
