Abstract

Organismos modificados de manera homocigota y métodos para crear y usar estos organismos. Reivindicacion 1: Un organismo que es homocigota para una modificacion en un locus genético que tiene al menos un primer y un segundo alelo, donde (i) el primer y el segundo alelo del locus genético comprenden una o más supresiones, de modo que el locus genético está inactivado, y donde, adicionalmente, el primer y el segundo alelo no comprenden secuencias exogenas; o (ii) el primer y el segundo alelo del locus genético comprenden una o más secuencias exogenas, donde las una o más secuencias exogenas no codifican un indicador o un marcador de seleccion. Reivindicacion 4: El organismo de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, donde el organismo es una planta o un animal.
