Abstract
Canos recubiertos con una capa de polietileno multimodal. El copolímero de etileno multimodal es un copolímero de etileno con uno o más comonomeros de alfa-olefina con entre 4 y 10 átomos de carbono y tiene un promedio ponderado de pesos moleculares de entre 70000 g/mol y 250000 g/mol, una proporcion entre el promedio ponderado de pesos moleculares y el promedio numérico de pesos moleculares, Mw/Mn, de entre 15 y 50, un índice de flujo de fusion MFR2 de entre 0,05 g/10 min y 5 g/10 min, un índice de flujo de fusion MFR5 de entre 0,5 y 10 g/10 min y una densidad de entre 930 kg/m3 y 955 kg/m3. Además, el copolímero de etileno multimodal comprende entre 49 y 59 % en base al peso del copolímero de etileno multimodal, de un componente homopolímero de etileno de bajo peso molecular, donde dicho homopolímero de etileno de bajo peso molecular tiene un promedio ponderado de pesos moleculares de entre 5000 g/mol y 70000 g/mol; y entre 51 y 41 % en base al peso del copolímero de etileno multimodal, de componente copolimero de etileno de alto peso molecular, donde dicho copolímero de etileno de alto peso molecular tiene un promedio ponderado de pesos moleculares de entre 100000 g/mol y 700000 g/mol. Los canos se pueden recubrir con alto rendimiento y buena economía de produccion. Los recubrimientos tienen buenas propiedades mecánicas.
