Abstract

La presente se refiere a tubos recubiertos que poseen una capa de polietileno multimodal. El copolímero de etileno multimodal es un copolímero de etileno con uno o más comonomeros de alfaolefina que poseen ente 6 y 10 átomos de carbono y un peso molecular promedio ponderado que oscila entre 70000 g/moles y 250000 g/moles, la relacion entre el peso molecular promedio ponderado y el peso molecular promedio numérico, Mw/Mn, oscila entre 15 y 50, un índice de fluidez MFR2 que oscila entre 0,05 g/10min y 5 g/10min, un índice de fluidez MFR5 que oscila entre 0,5 y 10 g/10min y una densidad que oscila entre 930 kg/m3 y 955 kg/m3. Los tubos se pueden recubrir con un alto rendimiento y buena economía de produccion. Los recubrimientos poseen buenas propiedades mecánicas.
