Abstract
Una composicion de polietileno multimodal para tuberías que comprende una composicion de polietileno con una resina base que comprende: (A) una fraccion de momo- o co-polímero de etileno, y (B) una fraccion de copolímero de etileno que comprende al menos un comonomero de alfa-olefina que tiene por lo menos 4 átomos de carbono, donde: (i) la fraccion (A) tiene un menor peso molecular promedio que la fraccion (B), y (ii) el contenido de comonomero y la densidad d de la resina base satisfacen la siguiente relacion: comonomero [% en moles] = -0,0612 d [kg/m3]% en moles/(kg/m3) + 58,6 y (iii) la resina base comprende más de 0,5% en moles de por lo menos un comonomero de alfa-olefina que tiene por lo menos 4 átomos de carbono. Además, la presente se refiere a un proceso para producir dicha composicion, una tubería que comprende dicha composicion y al uso de dicha composicion para producir una tubería.
