Abstract
Composiciones y métodos par regular la expresion de secuencias de nucleotidos heterologas en una planta. Las composiciones incluyen una nueva secuencia de nucleotidos de un promotor inducible del gen que codifica una desoxihipusina sintetasa de maíz. Se proporciona un método para expresar una secuencia de nucleotidos heterologa en una planta usando las secuencias promotoras descriptas en la presente documentacion. El método comprende incorporar en forma estable en el genoma de una célula vegetal una secuencia de nucleotidos unida operativamente al promotor con preferencia por la raíz de la presente, y regenerar una planta transformada en forma estable que expresa la secuencia de nucleotidos.
