Abstract
También se refiere a vectores de utilidad en dichos métodos, plantas transformadas con características de senescencia modificadas y células vegetales, semillas y otras partes de dichas plantas. Reivindicacion 1: Un método para manipular la senescencia en una planta, en donde dicho método incluye introducir en dicha planta una construccion genética que incluye un promotor modificado del gen myb, o uno de sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activo, ligado operativamente a un gen que codifica una enzima que interviene en la biosíntesis de una citoquinina, o uno de sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activo, en donde uno o más motivos específicos de raíz y/o motivos específicos de polen han sido eliminados o inactivados en dicho promotor modificado del gen myb.
