Abstract

MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLéICO ISOLADA, CONSTRUTO DE DNA, VETOR, MéTODO PARA OBTENçãO DE PLANTA TRANSFORMADA, MéTODOS PARA EXPRESSAR SEQüêNCIA NUCLEOTìDICA EM PLANTA E CéLULA VEGETAL, MéTODO PARA EXPRESSAR SELETIVAMENTE SEQüêNCIA DE NUCLEOTìDEOS EM RAIZ VEGETAL. A presente invenção provê composições e métodos para regular a expressão de seqUências nucleotídicas heterólogas em urna planta. As composições incluem urna nova seqUência nucleotídica para um promotor induzível do gene que codifica uma deoxihipusina sintase de milho. é fornecido um método para expressar uma seqUência nucleotídica heteróloga em uma planta, usando seqUências promotoras aqui divulgadas. O método consiste em incorporar de forma estável, no genoma de uma célula vegetal, uma seqUência nucleotídica operacionalmente ligada ao promotor raiz-preferencial da presente invenção; e regenerar uma planta transformada de maneira estável, que expressa a seqUência nucleotídica. A invenção inclui, ainda, um método para obter uma planta transformada.
