Abstract
En un proceso para convertir metano en hidrocarburos superiores que incluyen hidrocarburos aromáticos, una alimentacion que contiene metano se pone en contacto con un catalizador de deshidrociclacion en una zona de reaccion en condiciones efectivas para convertir dicho metano en hidrocarburos aromáticos. Una primera porcion del catalizador se transfiere desde la zona de reaccion hacia una zona de calentamiento, donde la primera porcion de catalizador se calienta poniendo en contacto el catalizador con gases de combustion calientes generados por la combustion de una fuente suplementaria de combustible. La primera porcion de catalizador calentada luego se devuelve a la zona de reaccion.
