Un compuesto derivado de 7-oxo-piridopirimidina de fórmula (1) en la cual R1 es hidrógeno o alquilo; R2 es cicloalquilo sustituido, cicloalquilo heterosustituido, cicloalquilo heteroalquilsustituido, cicloalquilalquilo, heterosustituido, heterociclilo, heterociclilo- espiro-cicloalquilo, aralcoxi, alcoxi, alquil-S(O)n-alquileno-(en el que n es el número 1 o 2) o -SO2-Ar2;; R3 es hidrogeno, amino, monoalquilamino, dialquilamino, acilamino, -NRa-C(=O)-Rb (en el que Ra es hidrógeno o alquilo y Rb es heterociclilo o heteroalquilo), alquilo, cicloalquilo, arilo, aralquilo, haloalquilo, heteroalquilo, cianoalquilo, -alquileno-C(O)-R (en el que R es hidrógeno, alquilo, hidroxi, alcoxi, amino, monoalquilamino o dialquilamino), acilo o ftalimidoalquilo; y Ar1 y Ar2 con independencia entre sí son en cada caso arilo; o sales farmacéuticamente aceptables o profármacos del mismo.
