Abstract
Un sistema y método en una red de comunicación inalámbrica que determina eficientemente cuando un mensaje está destinado a una unidad inalámbrica de transmisión/recepción (WTRU) en particular. De acuerdo con la presente, cada WTRU está configurada para recibir comunicaciones en múltiples canales de comunicación. La WTRU recibe y procesa senales entrantes en los múltiples canales de comunicación en la capa física para indicar cual de los múltiples canales de comunicación, de haberlos, está destinado a la WTRU. Si la indicación está de acuerdo con una indicación esperada para esa unidad móvil, la unidad móvil da acceso al canal de comunicación en particular y procesa la información que es enviada en el mismo.
